The Return of Water

A few days ago we had a lovely, thundering storm. Our cove, which had been completely dry, suddenly looked like a rushing river, complete with roaring whitecaps.

The water drained into the main body of the lake within a half day, but still, it was a beautiful sight while it lasted.

  2. We have had our share of rain the past few weeks, and are expecting our first bit of snow this weekend. YIKES!
Just gotta psyche myself up for the long, cold winter. I pretty much hibernate during the cold months, preferring to stay home and cocoon rather than face the elements!
